In the midst of my flailing about BGII, I discovered something wonderful.
Baldur’s Gate II, Planescape: Torment, and Temple of Elemental Evil for download on GOG.com for $10. All in higher resolutions, guaranteed to work on Windows 7 64-bit, the whole shebang.

Holy geez Baldur’s Gate II is likely coming to Steam.
Would I buy this excellent game again? You bet your pants I would!
Especially since the original game’s been nearly unplayable since Vista, and the multiplayer is completely borked. (And then I broke it further with mods. >_>)

Not overly fond of the new Nightwish album so far. I liked Dark Passion Play a lot better - it had a harder sound to it, as opposed to Imaginaerum’s slower, more atmospheric/folk vibe. I’ll give it a little while before I make a final decision, but so far I’m kinda disappointed. Ah well.
