Ah, watching the Daily Show is how I cope with it. Sometimes it’s depressing still, yes, but it’s just relieving to see there are people willing to laugh along with it. … if only Canada weren’t so cold. XD

I can still watch the Colbert Report and be amused, but the Daily Show tends to present things in a slightly more serious light/talk about more soul-crushing subjects, at least from my point of view. 

I have no problem with cold! I would totally live in Canada, but for some reason I don’t think the husband would be cool with us moving that far away from his family. (And I would feel bad for making my mom feel like she had to pick between going with me or staying here with my dad.)
